Sooo, Summer is pumping the heat and the Dc Fashion Scene has warmed up bringing in some new fresh styles, from L.A, N.Y, Dubai the list goes on. Dc is known for it’s Vintage style, but out with the old and in with the” NEW” finally.
Contemporary and Eclectic Designers are really starting to make a statement with there custom collections.
Just recently M Dot Design Hosted a “Shop L.A Style” event at the W hotel Down town. Of coarse I attended, the event was great. The collections were refreshing light whimsical but still simple. I got to talk to a couple of designers and “get to know” people of DC Fashion Scene.
Get to know: M Dot Design, they’re a Contemporary Fashion design company from L.A. to learn more about M Dot Design: http://www.mdotdesignstudio.com/
I really enjoyed myself , the designers were sweet creative and inspiring. Can’t wait for you guys to come back.
Next we have Soul.eil Pop-up Shop. Soul.eil Boutique did two weekends of Pop-Up Shops to celebrate their Launch! I didn’t get to attend the melodic soulful events but I did my research and they are worthy enough to talk about. Even though I said vintage is done they’re an exception. Personally I feel there style is more global and cultural than it is traditional vintage. I love it they also sell contemporary clothing. Soul.eil vibes are alright with me…
I’m not into knockoffs, knockoff Designers or even knockoff Love. I want the real thing, authentic passionate and high quality. Hence why I’m single and not having sex. Like my wardrobe everything is real and I’m looking for a love to match, I’m real. One day my closet will be full of designers and in my bed will lay my love that I can’t live without, the man of my life, my husband, but until then I’m working on it!
These day sex is like pumping gas … It’s so casual uh. Pull up and feel me up lol. It has lost its vibrance in society, guys don’t work for it anymore and get mad at you when you make them work or wait for the pussy. They act Sooooo perverted at least get to know me first so I know your a freak and not a real pervert! That’s why I can’t wait to find my soul-mate these fish in the sea are so thirsty
I’ve notice that a lot of women base their value by comparing themselves to other women… Like you see all these “sexy” women single but then see “non-sexy” women (to be politically correct) married or taken lol because they know to focus on the goal and not the competition! 😉
So im watching Dr.Phil on OWN #Oprahnetwork and the topic is infidelity Mistresses vs. Wives and this thing is juicy… So basically its a panel of “Husband Stealers” that have had all fail attempts to steal another woman’s husband and are justifying that they are a need also have a purpose…but my thing is your purpose isn’t permanent or a necessity. So its like your giving your all at a temp job, hoping it will turn into a full-time position. Not saying it’s not possible but what are the odds, slim to none. Another thing if a guy says “you give him something she lacks” that doesn’t make his wife anything less because obviously what she lacks isn’t why he married her DUUUHHHH! Sooo the odds of him leaving her gets even slimmer. I feel like mistresses are the mascots for “setting yourself up for failure” because the only thing they’re in love with is the comfort of disappointment. Like you know your, straight up gambling with no money to bet with… Thinking you have nothing to loose but find yourself in debt. Its crazy! Understand infidelity is a act of selfishness thats hard to turn that into selflessness
Determine if it’s a blessing from God or if it’s the devil playing games by the deliverance. God’s blessings are never tangled in webs but are wrapped like gifts, waiting to be revealed not a trap to get caught up. Keep the vessel clear, the temple clean and energy high.
Pharrell is really on his women empowerment movement and I am loving it, his respect, taste and ode to women is needed. He’s showing how all type of women are beautiful attractive and wanted. As a woman and seeing how humanity is changing in sexuality and behavior, this speaks to me that a simple woman is still beautiful and appreciated. I love my Gays but damn does anyone want a girl anymore? I feel like women are being replicated by many but aren’t being valued. And with all of the change in this World it feels good to know a good simple girl like me is being valued!
Other than that…
The style of the video is giving me Cali vibes at it’s best, full of sun, life, color and everyone is “Happy”. His fashion sense is fun, masculine and vibrant, there’s a youthful side to his wardrobe but not childish. He knows who he is and isn’t trying to put on, this man is 41 and still attracting a twenty year old woman’s eye, he’s timeless. Now for the women’s style in video it’s whimsical, artistic, but sexy. You can tell the Stylist isn’t having a fashion show but basing style off of personality. There isn’t a lot of labels or brand logos popping up randomly, it’s about everyday style clothing comfortable and flexible. Overall this video is giving me “We Are The World”, “I Am Other” and a little of “I Am Every Woman” sprinkled with modern street chic.

They’re very Bohemian Chic, great styles for ladies + woman from mid 20’s and up. Great for the spring with all of the prints and colors. For work play and in between I give them 4 out of 5 stars. You can even shop online @ www.Francescas.com
“She was beautiful, but not like those girls in the magazines. She was beautiful, for the way she thought. She was beautiful, for the sparkle in her eyes when she talked about something she loved. She was beautiful, for her ability to make other people smile, even if she was sad. No, she wasn’t beautiful for something as temporary as her looks. She was beautiful, deep down to her soul. She is beautiful.”—F. Scott Fitzgerald (via nyu-tah)
